Hemionitis arifolia, aka the Heart Fern, are unique little plants that are almost designed for terrariums. Needing consistently moist soil and ample humidity, Hemionitis arifolia can be tricky to maintain without a cloche, terrarium, or humidity tray. Provide moderate to bright-indirect light levels for optimal growth. Too much light could cause leaf damage and this plant should never dry out.
A unique feature of this plant is that it will 'piggyback' new fronds off of old ones, creating almost a ladder of leaves over time. This typically happens in ideally humid conditions like a terrarium setup.
