ABOUT
US

The concepts of Eco Fashion and Sustainable living mean different things to different individuals. Here is what it means to us: We take time and care to consider where and how things are made, who makes them and what they are made out of. We cannot be everything to everyone, but we keep the planet and people in mind in all that we do.

We focus on soft fabrics and products that are ethically produced. Jewelry and accessories that are locally made from recycled and natural materials, locally handmade goods, and donate 1% of all sales to our 1% For the Planet partner, in order to ensure that we are always giving back to environmental causes.

EcoVibe co-founder and principal buyer, Leonard “Len” Allen, is a Portland native and a veteran of the apparel and fashion industry, with over 30 years of experience in the field. Len and Dre opened EcoVibe in an effort to blend their love for fashion and retail with the concept that business can do good and be good, while caring for people and the planet.

Andrea “Dre" Allen, co-founder and CEO, has a background in the natural health and wellness industry and brings her experience in sales and marketing, meticulous eye for aesthetics and commitment to sustainability to the business.

In 2019, they expanded to an additional location and opened EcoVibe Home: a new store with a focus on houseplants, home decor, and gifts. Just like EcoVibe Apparel, EcoVibe Home focuses on sustainable and ethically produced products that also offer beautiful design elements.

OUR PROMISE

The apparel industry has become the third most polluting industry on the planet. At EcoVibe, we are working to help offset some of the damage that the fashion industry has on the environment. Here are some of the ways that we are contributing to this cause:

1% for the Planet

1% For the Planet is a global network organization working together for a healthy planet. Brands whose products and services feature the 1% For The Planet logo give 1% of sales annually to nonprofit organizations across the globe helping to save land, protect forests, rivers and oceans, make agricultural and energy production more sustainable, getting toxics out of the environment, plastics out of the oceans and more.

EcoVibe Apparel is proud to be a contributing member of 1% For The Planet since 2016. Look for the 1% logo and visit onepercentfortheplanet.org to learn more.
