Related to the 'Asparagus fern', the Foxtail fern is not a fern at all, but a member of the Lily family. Asparagus densiflorus enjoys bright-indirect light, particularly from an Eastern exposure, as they prefer morning sun. Due to their fleshy roots that hold onto water, these plants are somewhat drought tolerant and you can allow the top few inches of soil to dry out in between waterings. With that being said, these plants do appreciate ample humidity, which you can provide via misting, a humidity tray, or by grouping around other plants.
Please keep in mind that as a member of the Lily family, Foxtail ferns are toxic. Keep away from small children and pets.
