Pilea 'Moon Valley'
Pilea involucrata 'moon valley' is named after the peaks and valleys on its leaves, which resemble the surface of the moon. Like many pilea, this plant loves humidity, which you can provide via a pebble tray, misting, a humidifier, a cloche or terrarium, or by grouping with other plants. Keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top inch or two to dry out between waterings in the winter months. Provide bright-indirect to moderate light, as direct sun will crisp the leaves. Pinch back this plant regularly to encourage full, bushy growth, and fertilize once per month in the growing season (April-October).
