KATU2 NEWS: PDX launches year two of the pop-up program; two local businesses open up shop

Andrea Allen, co-founder of ECOVIBE, said, “We were actually approached by one of the port representatives who happens to be a customer of ours, and the opportunity had arisen where we were closing one of our locations in Portland, and she reached out to us to see if we'd be interested in applying to open a store here at the airport.”

Allen said the lifestyle brand has already seen a positive response since opening its pop-up in mid-March.

“We've been really just well received by travelers passing through,” said Allen. “People who know us and already love our store have been really delighted and surprised to find us here. And we've also just been really welcomed by the airport community. There are so many employees at PDX, and so we're meeting a lot of people and making lots of friends, and it's just been really a lot of fun.
