Ficus altissima, aka the Lofty Fig, or Council Tree, showcases gorgeous variegation and bright veining that pops against the color of the leaves, making for a stunning foliage plant that is much less finicky than its cousin, the Fiddle Leaf Fig. Provide bright-indirect light preferably from a Southern or Western facing window and allow the soil to dry out in between waterings. Avoid direct sun as this can scorch the leaves. Keep away from cold or drafty areas. Fertilize once per month in the growing season.
