Fittonia albivenis, aka the Nerve Plant, grows best in medium to bright-indirect light, with its variegation increasing in intensity with the more light it receives. Careful, as too much light can bleach the leaves. Make sure your fittonia has lightly moist soil at all times that is also well-draining to avoid soggy roots. These plants are very well adapted to living in terrariums and cloches, and while they do not need excessive humidity, they certainly benefit from it. You can provide humidity via misting or a humidity tray. Fertilize once per month during the growing season.
