Sansevieria zeylanica, aka Ceylon Bowstring Hemp or Snake Plant, features thick bands of light-colored variegation. The Sansevieria is renowned for being a low-light, drought-tolerant plant. Water about once a month in the winter and every 2-3 weeks during the summer. Avoid direct sunlight as their leaves will surely crisp up in a sunbeam. Fertilize once per month during the growing season and avoid getting the leaves wet, if possible.
