Hoya carnosa tricolor, aka Krimson Queen, is recognizable by the color of its waxy leaves which showcase green, white, and pink variegation along with their pink stems. Keep these gorgeous, epiphytic plants in bright, indirect light and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Hoyas love to be root bound and will flower when they are dry, nutrient-poor, and snug in their pots. Make sure not to fertilize them too often, and never cut off the long vines, or peduncles, which will carry the plant's eventual blooms. Hoyas usually flower when they are 5+ years old.
