Platycerium bifurcatum, aka the Staghorn Fern, appreciates a high level of humidity and the perfect balance between not being too wet, but also never drying out. They are great for bathrooms or kitchens, where it is frequently humid. The watering schedule will depend on their exposure to heat and light - so adjust accordingly! You can mist the fronds of these plants intermittently between waterings to increase their humidity. To water the base, you can either submerge it in a basin of water for a few minutes, or you can spray it generously so it is sufficiently moistened. Fertilize once per month during the growing season.
