Alocasia Safari Ebony, aka Elephant's Ear, are spectacular plants that need a little extra TLC to thrive in your home. For best results, provide a bright-indirect light, with your plant being as close to the light source as possible. Be sure not to have any leaves touching the window, as this can cause temperature problems and damage the leaves. Keep the soil evenly moist at all times (but not soggy) except in the winter, when you should let the top 2 inches of soil dry out in between waterings. Fertilize 1-2 times per month during the growing season and provide ample humidity for optimal growing results.
