Tillandsia usneoides 'Thick Form', aka Spanish Moss is a unique variety of air plants closely related to Spanish Moss. They require bright, indirect light and regular watering, about once a week in the summer and every two to three weeks in the winter.
For best care, place the plant in bright, indirect light. Water weekly in the growing season and bi-monthly in the winter. The best way to water tillandsia is to submerge them in a bowl of lukewarm water for 10 to 20 minutes. Then shake them vigorously and turn them upside down to dry in an area with good air flow. When they are completely dry, you can place them back in their spot. We also recommend adding air plant fertilizer to their baths in the growing season (April-October).
